TripGolf LLC ("TripGolf," "we," "us," or "our") operates the TripGolf website and application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

1. Information We Collect

• Account & roster information: name and email address for the trip organizer and any players added to a trip, plus optional details like handicap index or GHIN number.
• Trip details: whatever you enter to plan your trip — dates, lodging, meals, flights, tee times, formats, teams, bets, and hole-by-hole scores.
• Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor. TripGolf never receives or stores your full card number.
• Technical information: basic error and performance data if error monitoring is active, collected automatically to help us find and fix bugs.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to operate TripGolf — creating and running your trip, letting your group see the roster, schedule, and scores, processing payment for your trip package, and fixing bugs. We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell it.

3. What Your Trip Group Can See

TripGolf is built around sharing trip details within your group. The organizer can see and edit everything on the trip, including every player's contact info and scores. Invited players can see the roster, schedule, and everyone's scores and match results for that trip. Keep this in mind before adding sensitive notes to a trip.

4. Who We Share Information With

We share information with the service providers that run TripGolf, and with no one else:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Neon — database hosting.
• Sentry — error monitoring.

Each of these providers only receives what they need to do their job, and each has its own privacy practices governing the data they process on our behalf. We don't sell your information to anyone.

5. Data Retention

We keep trip data for as long as the trip exists in our system. You can ask us to delete a trip and its associated data at any time by emailing us.

6. Your Choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing plangolftrip@gmail.com. Because TripGolf doesn't use traditional passworded accounts, we may ask you to verify your identity (for example, via the organizer code or the email on file) before making changes.

7. Children's Privacy

TripGolf isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you give us, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
